Dear Esteemed Scientists and Participants,
Twenty-seven years ago, at a time when we could save almost none of our children from leukemia, we founded LÖSEV - Foundation for Children with Leukemia with the belief that “nothing is more valuable than a child’s life.” Today, with our School for Children with Leukemia, our Village, and LÖSANTE, Turkey’s most comprehensive healthcare complex, we are making our voice heard not only across our nation but also throughout the world. We take great pride in reaching a success rate of over 92% in treating leukemia.
Throughout this journey, guided by our steadfast determination, we did not only build hospitals, schools, and villages; we also nurtured a vision of a strong future grounded in hope, science, and solidarity.
This year, as we host the third edition of our International Cancer and Life Symposium, we carry this vision forward once again. Framed around the theme “Life and Cancer,” this gathering is not only about discussing illnesses but also about celebrating life, exploring advances in treatments, and paving new ways for humanity through the light of science.
At LÖSEV, we firmly believe that science finds its true meaning only when it serves life. We are confident that this symposium will illuminate new directions in cancer research, foster meaningful collaborations, and above all, inspire hope for our children and for all patients.
