After graduating from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2005, I completed my internal medicine internship and residency at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine between 2006-2012. Between 2013-2016, I completed my medical oncology fellowship training at Dr. A. Y. Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital. I became an associate professor in May 2021. My special interest is psychooncology and I have completed and ongoing studies in this field. In the field of therapy, I received Optimum Balance Model therapist certificates in December 2018 and Basic Positive Psychotherapy Counseling certificates in October 2021. Also, I received Intensive Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy by Prof. Dr. Atilla Özkan and Psychooncology training from Prof. Dr. Sedat Özkan. My graduation on Positive Psychotherapy Master Training is ongoing.
