Dr.İrem Bilgetekin is currently a medical oncologist in Losante Children’s and Adult Hospital in Ankara. Between 2007 and 2013, Dr.Bilgetekin worked as an internal medicine assistant at Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital and became an internal medicine specialist in 2013. She studied at Gazi University, Department of Medical Oncology between 2014-2017 and became a medical oncology specialist in 2017. She received the title of associate professor . She has oral presentations and has received awards from the congresses. Dr.Bilgetekin is a member of Turkish Medical Oncology Association (2014- Present) and Breast Diseases Association(2019- Present) . She received training on good clinical practices and clinical trials on April 19, 2017, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Turkey Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, Dokuz Eylül University National Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (TUCRIN) Application and Research Center and Turkish Medical Oncology Association. She participates in some clinical phase studies as sub-investigator. Dr.Bilgetekin interests in the treatment of oncology patients and she is also interested in nutrition of cancer patients.
