Nikolina DODLEK

In 2010, Nikolina Dodlek began her profession as a cancer nurse. She worked as a department nurse and shift manager in the acute oncology and palliative care sections at Osijek University Hospital, where adult patients received chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy. She has been a teaching assistant at JJ Strossmayer University in Osijek, Croatia, since 2015. In addition, she has been a nursing student mentor at the nursing and palliative care cathedral since 2015. She earned her BA in nursing during this period, followed by an MA in nursing in 2017. She is presently enrolled in the PhD program at the nursing department at Cyprus Oncology University. She is Secretary, Co-Founder and Board Member of the Croatian Society of Oncology Nursing, and a member of EONS and ESMO. In 2020, with the cooperation and support of the National Association, the Young Cancer Nurses Association was established in Croatia and started training for young cancer nurses, which was accepted and approved by the Croatian Nursing Council. She was elected as EONS YCN Co-Chair in December 2020, and in May 2021 as EONS Executive Board Member Young Cancer Nurse.
